‘Alpha’ Company (Armored)

One of the more famous 4th Danikan Companies is ‘A’ Company. The unit is commanded by Captain Aaron Cantrell from his Exterminator Leman Russ Battle Tank.

Oversized by standard Astra Militarum organization charts, A company consists of a broad base of main battle tanks capable of dealing with almost any incursion, or smashing any kind of battle line. Danikan tank crews mostly wear black coveralls, with some of the artillery troopers and loaders affecting leather vests for additional protection while handling heavy shells. Leather tanker helmets are common for protection against hatch coamings and the like. While the black uniforms are quite sharp, their purpose is actually very practical – the interior of an Imperial war machine is often marked with smears of lubricant, promethium and other staining substances. The basic black coverall hides most of the soiling which comes from contact with these surfaces.

A Company is broken up into four platoons as follows:

Reaper 1 – 1st Platoon (Leman Russ Battle Tanks)

One Leman Russ Vanquisher, 2 Leman Russ Battle Tanks (#3 Commanded by Sergeant Marshall)

Sergeant Marshall’s tank ensures no unauthorized entry takes place

Iron Fist – 2nd Platoon (Leman Russ Demolisher and Close Support tanks)

Commanded by Tank Ace Lt. Harald Knox, Iron Fist is the linebreaker platoon, specializing in close in battle tanks

Commanded by Merald ‘Merry’ Thanos, the flamethrower tanks of 3rd Platoon are used to utterly destroy enemy light and medium infantry up close.

Black Devils Armor – Heavy Platoon

Commanded by Lt. Alyn Verrus the ‘Heavy Platoon’ is a Danikan construct. Most Astra Militarum units place super heavy vehicles in their own Company – but practice in Danikan units is to treat them as a platoon the same as other tanks. The vehicles are of ancient pedigree, damaged and repaired many times and no two are the same – all being slightly different patterns.
